AFTER a 10 week closure for extensive store improvements, Fairleys Supa IGA in Shepparton re-opened last week to an overwhelming response from the public.
Doors opened at 7.30am last Thursday and until close, the carpark was near to capacity with a constant stream of shoppers entering the store.
Store Manager, Craig Bramley said everyone was absolutely ecstatic for the store to be open again.
“Our staff were bursting at the seems to open the doors. The last 10 weeks has involved a lot of hard work and long hours to get the store back up and running and our staff members were happy to get back to some normalcy.
“We’ve increased our range of products to meet our consumers demand, with the inclusion of an extensive range of health foods including coeliac and gluten free varieties.
“We are extremely excited and pleased with how the store has come up with all the new racking and the huge range of products, the fresh new painting, our fresh deli and produce range as well as our new look café and extension of our bakery to better showcase our freshly baked products. The whole shopping ambience has been improved.”
Mr Bramley estimated that approximately 5,348 shopping transactions were made during the opening day, which was an overwhelmingly positive result and brought all of the teams hard work to fruition.
To celebrate the re-opening, the 4,000 square metre Supa IGA supermarket, located at 177-193 Numurkah Road in North Shepparton, will host an official grand opening party at 10am on Wednesday, April 4. All are welcome to celebrate the re-opening with a barbecue, giveaways and special offers to welcome back shoppers.
