TWENTY-FIVE women came together last week to attend the empowering WOW Women members Christmas dinner, which saw the finish to a year of successful partnerships formed between local women.
WOW Women Group Founder, Tracey Sofra said, “The evening was brilliant. The connection we all have with one another is pretty special. The fact we can share and connect at a deep level, within such a lovely atmosphere and help to celebrate each other’s successes, offer each other support is just something special.
“Each member had their chance to have their minute of fame where they introduce themselves, share their 2015 WOW moment and share with the rest of the group their big word for 2016. We heard words such as passion, moving forward, determination, imagine, enthusiasm, growth (in both career and personal), dream, choices and true north.
“This really helps to invoke their vision of what they want to achieve in 2016. Sharing these types of things in that type of environment is quite empowering.
“We’ve started a real connective movement and tapped into something that regional women had a hunger for. We’ve only been around for eight months and we’ve had a lot of success and it has helped so many people connect on so many levels.
“To have had this type of impact on people’s lives is great.
“We are looking forward to next year. There will be more workshops and events and our One Day Event will be held on May 1.
“2016 watch out.”
