A night of carols and fun in the gardens

Warm up those vocal cords and adorn your best Christmas outfit; Shepparton’s annual Carols by Candlelight event is coming to town.

On Sunday, December 22, Shepparton’s Queens Gardens will once again come alive with the merry sounds and joyful smiles of Christmas for Carols By Candlelight.

The night promises to be spectacular with the return of various local performers and entertainers who will showcase a mix of contemporary and traditional Christmas carols.

Of course, Santa Claus himself will be present at the carols and there will be food trucks, coffee, ice cream and glow sticks available for purchase, though you’re most welcome to bring your own food and enjoy a picnic in the gardens. The event will conclude with a spectacular pyrotechnic display, presented by GMCU.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own rugs, cushions and low-lying chairs, along with insect repellent.

Carols by Candlelight is an alcohol free event and will take place from 6:30pm on December 22 at the Queens Gardens (corner of Wyndham and Nixon Streets, Shepparton). For more information, visit www.greatershepparton.com.au/whats-happening/events/ or call 5832 9700.
