SHEPPARTON Theatre Arts Group (STAG) invites you to revisit one of the world’s most loved musicals, Jesus Christ Superstar. With 30 pieces of silver and a kiss on the cheek, the ultimate act of betrayal is committed. Through the eyes of the betrayer, Judas Iscariot, Jesus Christ Superstar tells the story of the last days of the man he once loved and admired, featuring and a talented local cast.

Presenting a slightly different interpretation of the original death of Judas, STAG’s Jesus Christ Superstar is bursting with amazing special effects, enticing musical numbers and acting performances audiences will be talking about for weeks to come. Patrons should note that Jesus Christ Superstar contains adult themes and some violence. Judas’ death will be implied, rather than staged, to avoid triggers for patrons who have experienced mental health issues.

The cast for Jesus Christ Superstar includes Brandon Armstrong as Jesus, Jayden Yosh as Judas, Drew Walker as Mary Magdelene, Aaron David Palmer as Herod, Rob Kemp as Pilate, Troy McKindley as Caiaphas, Ruby Shannon as Peter and Kathy Daly as Simon, backed by a singing, dancing ensemble.

The show begins on Thursday, May 2 at 7:30pm, and will finish with a matinee on Sunday, May 5 at 2pm. Tickets are selling fast so get in quick to avoid missing out on an amazing performance!
