Emerald Bank Market will be on again Sunday, August 28, with all the regular favourite stalls and a new section to feature quality pre-loved items.
The monthly market offers a wonderful mix of local produce, clever crafts and gifts, demonstrations and kids entertainment and now will have a separate area for those who buy and sell good condition pre-loved goods such as crockery, china, clothes, books, furniture, antiques, collectables and interesting items.
To respond to public demand the market will this month open a section to cater for these types of stalls and organisers hope it will be well supported.
“The market tries to respond to what our market customers and stallholders are telling us, so we thought we would try this new pre-loved section this month to see how it is supported,” market manager, Cheryl Hammer, said.
“The market has grown to offer a varied mix of lovely handmade and cleverly designed childrens clothes and accessories, cards, aromatherapy, soaps, scarves and scrap booking, as well as photography and skincare, and now people can also browse good quality second hand items,” she said.
Also on offer will be gorgeous cup cakes, fruit and vegetables, home baked treats and fresh ground coffee. The Shepparton Lions Club serve up a delicious barbecue and Jagrd Wood Fired Pizza will be there.
The family friendly market, from 9 am to 1 pm, has pony rides, mini train rides, face painting and a jumping castle to keep the kids happy.
Stalls for both sections are still available and can be booked by calling 5823 2500 or 0407 036 839 or register on the market page at www.emeraldbankleisureland.com.au
