For many people, spoiling mum on Mother’s Day would often involve taking her out for a delicious lunch or dinner, but this year that won’t be the case. But local businesses are making it possible to still provide delicious meals for mum on her special day, and this year, your meal could also help someone in need.

Working with the likes of Shepparton Brewery, The Teller Collective, The Little Gourmet Food Company, Bill & Beats, and The Woolshed (to name a few), Food Link have set up a donation drive with Mother’s Day in mind. Customers are encouraged to shop local for mum and ‘pay it forward’ to Food Link, which will go towards future meals that will then be donated and distributed to those in need.

Food Link is a not-for-profit organisation working with local catering companies and businesses to make meals for those in need. They also accept donations through their Facebook page, ‘Food Link Shepparton’.
