AUTUMN is a beautiful and marvellous time of the year to be outdoors in the fresh air. This weekend, take advantage of the glorious weather and drive to glorious Emerald Bank to enjoy the Shepparton Farmers’ Market.

Since its humble beginnings the local market has only grown in popularity, with last months market one of the most successful organisers have seen. The market was completely booked out for stallholders and the crowd enjoyed food stalls, local coffee vendors and live music, in a peaceful setting.

Returning to Shepparton Farmers’ Market this month is Sprocket’s Free Range Eggs and Pullet Grower Farm. Owner, Jess Harris said that their chooks are treated with the utmost respect and can roam freely throughout the farm during the day before returning home to roost undercover in the evening.

“I am really picky about my eggs and chooks,” Jess explained, “So please come down and have a look at this fantastic market and say hello.”

This weekend, Shepparton Farmers’ Market will also be drawing the winners for their recent raffle. Participants will get a ticket as they come through the gates for the market or with any $10 purchase made at any of the shops at Emerald Bank.
