WHEN word made it to Banksia Lodge that GV Health was looking for knitted beanies for the oncology unit, the Shepparton Villages’ Banksia ladies snapped into action!

Volunteer, Beryl Granger and staff member, Mel Mann headed up a dynamite knitting team, comprising of residents, Rita Mitchell, Norma LeBehen, Esme Todd, Margaret Cranko, Edith Sadler and Edna Harling. The volunteers worked tirelessely to knit the beanies, showing the heart of those at Shepparton Villages.
