LOOKING for a family friendly way to ring in the New Year? Mooroopna Rotary Club has got you sorted, with their annual and highly successful New Year’s Eve celebration.

With the special emphasis on this being a family friendly event, there is no BYO alcohol allowed. Guests are invited to arrive from around 4:30pm, with the fireworks display set to commence at 10:25pm. Admission is free and guests are invited to enter via the Midland Highway entrance.

This year, there will be a street parade and truck judging competition, with the very lively procession of events commencing at 6:30pm from the slip road adjacent to Freers Panel Works at the corner of O’Brien Street and Midland Highway.

Rotary Club of Mooroopna member, Ken Fawkner said, “Bring the family down for a fun filled event and a colourful evening.

“All of the usual entertainment will be there, plus this year there will also be a petting zoo for the little ones. Food and drink will be available for purchase.”
