Summer holidays are well and truly in full swing even though school resumes in a couple of weeks. Trying to keep young minds active often puts a lot of pressure on parents at this time of the year. Greater Shepparton City Council’s Activities in the Park program has prepared a calendar of a number of fun day events around the shire that will provide entertainment to kids of all ages.

Events ranging from yoga to orienteering are all happening and it is only left to your imagination as to how you might get your kids involved.

For instance, this week they can be at the Shepparton Art Museum in Welsford Street where they can be involved in making a mural that will go on display in the new SAM once construction  is complete.

If you are looking for something more active, join Active @ School instructors for a fun filled 45 minute activity session at Ducat Reserve. This session is aimed at primary school aged children and will incorporate a mixture of fun and physical activities.

The council website has a full list of all the events kids can be involved in for what is left of the holidays. http://greatershepparton.com.au/whats-happening/events
