JUST months after delivering more than $7 million of sporting equipment to more than 7600 schools across Australia, Coles recently announced the return of its popular Sports for Schools program.
Bourchier Street Primary School in Shepparton has been quick to get involved with this year’s program, already working toward collecting Coles vouchers earned for every $10 spent at Coles Supermarkets and Coles Online, to exchange for free sports equipment for its students.
Since its launch in 2010 the Sports for Schools program has been a big success around the country, encouraging and educating Australian students of the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.
Ambassador for the program and new mum, Catherine Freeman says the program provides a great opportunity to help kids develop their passion for sport.
“Not all kids get the opportunities I was lucky enough to get. Coles Sports for Schools has already made a real difference to millions of kids and now we all have the opportunity to do it again. Please get behind the program and let’s give every Australian child the chance to enjoy sport.” Catherine added.
The Coles program is running from August 11 to October 18, and excludes purchases of gift cards, liquor or tobacco related products.
