Riverlinks Marketing Officer, Aishe Besim says the “snapshot of Australian life in the 1950’s as experienced by three generations of Koori women” is humorous and “captures the optimistic spirit of the women as they strive to belong in conservative rural Australia”.

Greater Shepparton City Council Manager Performing Arts and Conventions, Steve Donelly says the play which premiered in Sydney in 2009 promises “a feel good night in the theatre and holds special relevance to our area, with the work inspired by the Aboriginal settlement Rumbalara.”
