Primary Care Connect Chief Executive Officer, Jill Hutchison says the committee’s main focus is to form a direct link between the community and Primary Care Connect itself, keeping the organisation informed about the needs of the community through consumer feedback.
“The Community Advisory Committee offers an exciting opportunity for individuals to perform a community orientated role which will bring a consumer perspective directly to the Primary Care Connect services and policies. The committee will enable an informed approach to growing services that the community deems important.”
“This feedback will act to negate any shortfall between forming policies and help streamline actual service delivery to members of the community.”
The Committee is operating as a sub-committee of the current Board of Management and is headed by Board member, Barbara Brown.
Barbara said, “We look forward to inviting new members and working together to enhance consumer information and services.”
