Craft market celebrates local makers

There are a lot of talented locals throughout the region who are hard at work constantly creating little pieces of craft and art.

In an effort to celebrate local craftspeople, the Goulburn Valley West group of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) in Tatura are holding a local creative arts exhibition this Sunday in Tatura.

The Goulburn Valley West group is comprised of seven branches and members of all these branches hold an annual creative arts exhibition. There will be lots of lovely arts and crafts, floral displays, baking and preserves and a spinning wheel demonstration. Junior members of the CWA Rodney branch will also be decorating and selling cupcakes on the day.

Everyone is welcome, admission is $5.00 and children attend free. There will be raffles all day and a trading table selling a variety of goods. The 2019 Goulburn Valley West Creative Arts Exhibition will be taking place this Sunday, August 25 from 10:30am to 4:00pm at Victory Hall, 75 Hogan Street, Tatura.
