KYABRAM’S Julia Crockett-Grills will this month join 16 other talented Victorian schoolgirl cricketers on a 17-day skills development tour of England and Singapore.
The players aged 15-18 of Cricket Victoria Female Academy, will compete against boys schools and county womens clubs while on tour and watch the Australian women’s cricket team take on England at the ‘Home of Cricket’, Lord’s Cricket Ground, London.
Julia, 17, runner-up Bowler of the Championship at last season’s national Under 18 titles, is eager to receive coaching from former Australian player and Cricket Victoria coach, Melanie Jones as part of the tour.
