CORE Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic is owned and operated by Qualified Physiotherapist, Sonal Shah. Sonal graduated from the University of Melbourne and has practiced in private practice, private and public hospitals as well as aged care facilities. With such experience and broad exposure to a wide variety of muscular and skeletal conditions, Sonal brings a broad array of skills to the region.
Sonal told The Adviser, “I believe in finding the true cause of the problem and not simply providing prophylactic relief, the diagnosis and treatment of the entire kinetic chain, that makes up the neuromuscular system – is the key to a successful recovery.
“In the clinic, I help people affected by pain and injury through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.
“The main aim is to facilitate recovery and ensure the return to normal daily activities as well as sports, happens as quickly as possible.”
Core Physiotherapy can assist in the treatment of a range of conditions including, sports injuries, joint pain, tendon problems, sciatica, osteoarthritis, muscle sprains and strains, posture problems and headaches; with services that include, manual therapy and joint mobilisation techniques, heat treatments, individual clinical Pilates, hydrotherapy and post operative rehabilitation.
