ONCE again, excitement builds ahead of the power hungry modified tractors and trucks descending on Quambatook for Easter Saturday as they prepare to blast their way down the track at the 43rd Annual Australian Tractor Pull Championships.

Competitive tractor pulling isn’t just watched…it’s experienced! And this year’s Australian Tractor Pull Championships are no exception, with an immense line-up of machines and tonnes of entertainment planned.

The program commences with the vintage tractors and 2WD farm tractors at 1pm Easter Saturday and concludes under lights at approximately 10pm. At 3:30pm, the spectacular modified tractors and trucks hit the track and will continue pulling under lights until 10pm.

An evening tea break at 6:30pm will see the pits open to the public, allowing enthusiasts an opportunity to share their passion of these mighty machines with the pulling teams.

For the little ones, there will be sideshow entertainment throughout the event and even the Easter Bunny will be making a trackside appearance, throwing chocolate eggs out for young enthusiasts.

The event is fully catered throughout the day, including bar facilities and a designated ‘dry area’ on site. There will also be an extensive display of heritage machinery courtesy of Quambatook Heritage Working Machinery Association, as well as a country market, with a variety of wares available for sale.

Bring along a rug or chair to enhance your day’s enjoyment and remember that there is no BYO alcohol, no pets, no glass containers and no EFTPOS on site. For further information, follow ‘Australian Tractor Pull Championships – Quambatook’ on Facebook.
