POLICE hold serious concerns for missing 53-year-old Mooroopna man, David Buchanan, who was last seen at the Euroa Post Office on Monday, July 14.
While making numerous enquires as to Mr Buchanan’s whereabouts, police did locate his car on the Euroa Strathbogie Road, Kelvin View around 2pm on Saturday.
Police believe that he may be in nearby bushland and have searched Sheans Creek and are asking residents of Sheans Creek and Kelvin View to check their properties for the missing man.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said, “Residents are asked to check their entire property including storage sheds in case Mr Buchanan has sought refuge in one.
“Mr Buchanan’s requires regular medication and may have been out in the open in recent near freezing conditions.”
Mr Buchanan is described as caucasian in appearance, 183cm tall with balding brown hair which is starting to grey, green eyes and thin build.
He was last seen wearing a blue flannelette shirt and dark track pants.
Police have released an image of Mr Buchanan in the hope it will assist them in locating him.
Anyone who sees David Buchanan, is urged to call 000 immediately.
