LA TROBE University will host the biggest Open Day event at its Shepparton campus on Friday 4 August.
Prospective students and their parents will get the chance to learn about La Trobe’s courses, speak with teaching staff and past and current students and tour the university’s facilities.
La Trobe University, head of campus, Sue Nalder said the theme of Open Day 2017 is “Find Your Clever” and she encouraged students and parents to attend.
Mrs Nalder said. “There is a world of possibilities waiting for you at La Trobe and you should come along and see for yourselves what’s on offer. This year’s Open Day promises to be our biggest and the best. It will be a more interactive and personal experience for prospective students.
“We will have more alumni, course co-ordinators, academics and students available for tours and presentations to give you the best possible glimpse of what life as a La Trobe student is really like.
“Being ranked in the top 2 percent of universities in the world means that we are well placed to help you to be the best that you can be, prepare you for rewarding careers, connect you to the right people in your chosen field and help you adapt to the changing world around you.”
Other highlights on the day include Aspire Early Admissions Program, TAFE and TEP Pathways information sessions and Living Landscapes display attendees can start planning now by downloading the La Trobe Open Day App to design their own personalised program.
