Flavours of the Goulburn Valley

Thousands are set to descend on Shepparton’s Fryers Street next weekend for the annual Fryers Street Food Festival. Now in its fourth year, the event has a fresh new look with the appointment of new event managers, Jamie Lea of JL Productions & Hire and Liz Connick of Your Project Partner.

Ms Connick said, “We are thrilled to be hosting this year’s festival. As locals ourselves we know how rich the Goulburn Valley Foodbowl is and we are keen to showcase it to the world.

“Our theme for this year is ‘Gather and Share’. As the weather warms up, we see this event as an ideal social occasion and family friendly event for all ages, where our locals and visitors to the region can gather and share in a food experience. We are also honouring our culturally diverse community by kicking off the weekend with our Friday night entree event focusing on ‘Flavours of the World’.”

The Fryers Street Food Festival will begin this Friday, November 15 with ‘Flavours of the World’ from 5pm to 9pm. Saturday, November 16 will see local food businesses showcasing their specialities in food trucks, and bars, with outdoor seating, live music and entertainment from 5pm to 10pm.
