RAISING funds for Ambulance Victoria and offering a day on the green, the Rotary Club of Shepparton Central and The Good Guys Shepparton, with support from United Way Goulburn Valley Community Fund are holding their third annual Charity Golf Day at the Shepparton Golf Club.
Raising a staggering $26,000 in 2010 and $31,000 in 2011, this year will see 30 teams of four hit the green with entertainment provided by special guest and AFL legend, Jason Akermanis. Teams will also be treated to breakfast, lunch and a raffle, all of which will assist Ambulance Victoria Shepparton campus to provide new Whisper Flow Monitors, Syringe Drivers and upgraded capacity for Cardiac Monitors.
Chairman of the Golf Day Committee, Rob Kelly said, “All funds raised at the event will go toward Ambulance Victoria Shepparton campus to provide upgraded equipment.”
Store Manager of The Good Guys Shepparton, Rodney Arthur spoke with The Adviser saying The Good Guys are happy to be supporting the community.
“It is always good to give back to a community who are so supportive of The Good Guys,” Rodney said.
