HAVING been appointed the new GV Health CEO in October last year, Matt Sharp sat down with The Adviser to talk about how he has been settling in and to share with the community a more personal side.

Matt said, “The role so far has been pretty exciting. There are a lot of opportunities at GV Health. One of the really exciting things is the great people that work here. Everyone I have met have been terrific and they are committed to doing their job well to make a difference to the people on an individual level and community level.

“The other exciting things are the major developments. The large one at the Shepparton site, which is coming along well and the Rushworth campus where we are bringing together the two services into one on the main street.

“We do a lot of things really well, which we want to keep doing, but we also know there are some things we need to work on and improve on and we are doing everything we can to identify these things and improve on them as quickly as we can.

“It is a really important time in GV Health’s development. We are undergoing a significant growth phase to meet the growing demands of the region.”
