LOYALTY is such a valuable asset as it is earned over the passage of time and built on respect. I was struck by the staff loyalty that came when I went into Cellarbrations in Mooroopna to interview manager, Josh Lane. Josh was joined by sales assistant, Ayshla Simpson who proudly showed me through the new Cellarbrations store, located at the former supermarket site in the centre of Mooroopna.
What was striking to me, more than the information relating to the wide and varied stock, both independent and locally supplied, and the sales philosophy outlining continuity in lower prices, was how the staff kept referring back to long term senior manager, Geoff Thomson as being a fixture and that his being away from work at this time was a shame as he really is the face of Cellarbrations Mooroopna. That loyalty and respect have to be admired.
Josh said, “Geoff has been here for 40 plus years, back when Kings Tuckerbag was up and running, and would have to be considered a Mooroopna identity, he’s an absolute fixture to this place. Geoff has a fantastic customer rapport and really knows this business so well.
“We work closely together and make sure that our store specials are tailored to local sales and tastes. What we pride ourselves on is that our pricing is consistent and we’ve always got value.”
Drop in to Cellarbrations at 94-96 McLennan Street, Mooroopna for some excellent value, or to test Geoff on his knowledge.
