The event not only promoted a personal health boost to all who attended, but also aided Make-A-Wish Australia in raising much needed funds for continued wish granting, in turn bringing much needed laughter to the homes of so many ‘Wish’ families.

State Liberal MP, Jeanette Powell told The Adviser that the event was set up all in good fun. “It was a great opportunity to have a good laugh, but also raising money for a good cause,” she said.
Leading the ‘Laugh For Kids on Wish Day’ event that was held in March, well-known Doctor, Cindy Pan, says the medical benefits of laughing should not be underestimated. “The benefits range from improving circulatory and cardiovascular health and improving breathing capacity to enhancing the immune system, relieving stress and burning off calories,” Dr Pan explained.

“Laughter releases endorphins as well as giving you a great aerobic workout,” she added.
