DESIGNED to shift mindsets and inspire vibrant attitudes with a blend of high energy, humour, authenticity and world class thought leadership, this year’s WOW Women one-day event, held on Sunday, May 26 was another in a series of the group’s successful annual events.

WOW Women founder and event host, Tracey Sofra said, “We design these events to enable new learning and provide new inspiration for our guests, and Sunday’s event certainly delivered both those things.

“It really was an incredible event full of inspiration, motivation and practical tools and solutions, we’re already looking forward to next year’s event!

“One of our key deliverables is always to reassure people that they are not alone in life’s adversities. Women in business face multiple challenges and are buoyed by the support that can come from a network of women who understand and have experienced those same challenges.” Tracey said.

In addition to keynote speaker, Tracey Sofra, the day featured a panel discussion and addresses by both journalist, Marcus Pearce and athlete Kim Morrison whilst guests were treated to a 5-star high tea.

“The annual event brings women together, to learn from each other and to share in their experiences. Women never really put themselves first and this event is a great opportunity to do that. Through providing ongoing support via WOW Women and holding events like these, my hope is to prepare the next generation of women in business to work together and share their wisdom,” Tracey said.

Further to raising awareness and inspiring the region, the 2019 WOW Women event raised $3,000 from ticket sales, with both platinum sponsors for the event adding an extra $1,500 each. Proceeds raised will go towards the Liftoff Education Scholarship Fund, offering scholarships to young women.

WOW Women would like to thank all of its sponsors and supporters, including: platinum sponsors, Sofocorp Wealth and Sofra Partner Chartered Accountants; gold sponsors, Greater Shepparton Great Things Happen Here and Shepparton Women’s Health Centre; silver sponsors, Willprint and Renato’s Florist and supporters, The Adviser, The Woolshead, GV Party Hire and Power Audio.
