HAVING an online presence for your business is fast becoming the most attractive medium to interact with your customer base and to help get you onto the World Wide Web, the Greater Shepparton Business Centre will be hosting a highly informative workshop on Wednesday, June 20.
Aptly named ‘Your Business Online’ the workshop will provide background on how to establish a website action plan including creating a site map template, with attendees gaining an understanding of the key success factors involved in online marketing of a business and how to access information and assistance.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s Small Business Development Officer, Peter Barclay said, “Increasingly, the marketing of your own business can be greatly enhanced by making the most of the Internet. It is important for a business to take control of the Internet and use social media effectively in order to increase market exposure.
“It is ideal for the business owner wanting to increase their online presence. People who attend the workshop will learn more about how to increase traffic to a website, using social media and other strategies that can be utilised to market a business online,” Mr Barclay said.
The workshop is being held on Wednesday, 20 June 2012 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm at the Greater Shepparton Business Centre, 70 New Dookie Road, Shepparton.
