Kyabram still throwing colour to help those less well off

FUNDRAISING during Coronavirus lockdowns has its challenges, but it’s not stopping the Kyabram Community & Learning Centre (KCLC) holding its annual Colour Run to raise money for those who need some assistance.

Normally a messy (and colourful) event involving running and powdered paint flung around with more than 100 people in attendance, the KCLC has pressed on this year and is encouraging people to purchase a pack for their family and friends, which includes a t-shirt and a packet of powdered paint. At the least, the kids will love it.

Claire Perrella from the KCLC said the fundraising was more important now than ever, with money raised used to assist disadvantaged children and families in the local area.

“We’re hoping families can get colourful and support the community, especially now when times are tough,” she said.

A Zoom event will take place on Sunday, November 15. For more information, check out the Kyabram Community & Learning Centre (KCLC) Facebook page.
