THE Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is reminding the community that this is the last chance to book in for OHS training through their courses.
The HSR Initial OHS training course on offer is a WorkSafe approved training course that builds the skills, knowledge and confidence of participants to better represent their designated work group and to help make their workplace safer. The duration of this course is five days and will run from this Thursday, October 11 through to Wednesday, October 17.
The HSR Refresher OHS training course will run for one day on Monday, October 15 and will help refresh participant’s knowledge of the importance of consultation, hazards and risk management, including how to determine levels of risk and controls, issue resolution processes, legal framework and the OHS Act 2004, what is reasonably practicable, Provisional Improvement Notices, the role of inspectors and the value of HSRs to workplace safety.
