MURRAY Bushrangers players, Elijah Hollands and Ethan Baxter have been selected to represent an Australian Under 17 representative team to play a New Zealand Open team on Saturday, April 27. They will face off against the New Zealand side at Marvel Stadium in the curtain-raiser to the St Kilda and Adelaide clash.
The players will come together under coach, Luke Power in Melbourne on Wednesday, April 24 for a training camp, leading into the Saturday match.
Both Elijah and Ethan represented the Vic Country Under 16 team in 2018.
Lachlan Ash has also been selected in the under 18 Australian representative game to play the Casey Scorpions at the MCG on Saturday, April 20 as a curtain raiser to the Melbourne v St Kilda game. Lachlan is a member of the Academy system and co-captain of the Murray Bushrangers Under 18s and was also recently announced as co-captain of the Vic Country Academy.
