The competition, which saw over 8,500 entries, ran over a 12 month period across the V8 circuit including in Perth, Sandown, Townsville and Bathurst race meetings.
Kerrie was luckier than most with her win, due to the fact she almost didn’t finish filling in her details to enter the competition, walking away from the computer at Bathurst. Her husband Gary, who was standing close by while she was entering, decided to finish entering her into the competition and the entry was fortunately chosen by the SKILLED team as the winner.
Kerrie spoke with The Adviser saying it was fantastic that out of all the entrants from around Australia she was chosen as the winner.
“It was great to get away to Bathurst in person rather than just watching it on television, but the win just made the trip.
“It is really hard to describe how we feel, it’s just excitement. It’s such a beautiful ute to look at and it’s absolutely beautiful to drive.
“There will be a lot more weekend driving now I think.
“It’s a wonderful prize that SKILLED has put out,” Kerrie said.
