For around 6 years, Dr Matthew Wong and Dr Wil Chong have been providing the Goulburn Valley with their knowledge and expertise in general practice and skin cancer. The two have now opened up their own clinic, GV Skin and Specialist Centre, where they’ll be specialising in skin cancer and dermatology.
Opening Monday, March 2, GV Skin and Specialist Centre will be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all skin issues, both simple and more complex. With brand new state-of-the-art technology and close collaboration with dermatologists and plastic surgeons, the team will be able to assist with skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, and other skin-related issues.
“Skin checks are extremely important, we recommend yearly skin checks or for those at a higher risk (have a lot of moles, a family or personal history of skin cancer), one every three to six months depending on the individual case.” Dr Matthew Wong said.
“We’ve seen a high demand in Shepparton for skin cancer specialists, and really enjoy helping people and providing a continuation of care to our patients.” Dr Wil Chong said.
