WE ARE a third of the way into season 2019 and the Kyabram machine looks to be rolling on and is even stronger than last year.

The Bombers look to be smarting from their shock grand final loss of 2018, which denied them of a three-peat and ended their record breaking winning games run. They have been making mince meat of some of the challengers this year and really are the Goulburn Valley’s answer to the Globetrotters.

The inclusions of big man, Jake Reeves and Josh Vick has only added to this powerhouse who currently boasts the leagues top two goal kickers in Kayne Pettifer and Kyle Mueller.

The only chink in the armour I can see at this early stage is if they had some significant injuries. The price a club like this pays over a few years is losing the depth of the list as players on the fringe head to greener pastures and more senior football opportunities. This is quite evident for the first time in years at Bomber land with their reserves side towards the bottom of the ladder with only one win.

While the rest of the competition is so even, it appears we will need to just be content to watch this unbelievable run of success continue that this powerful club has created.
