AT a special council meeting last week, Cr Kim O’Keeffe was elected for a second term as mayor, with Cr Shelley Sutton elected deputy mayor.
Cr O’Keeffe said, “I am very honoured to have been re-elected as the mayor for Greater Shepparton for a second term.
“I would like to thank my fellow councillors for re-electing me, and also for their support over the past 12 months in my first year as mayor.
“I am extremely grateful for the encouragement and unwavering support of my family and friends and I would also like to extend my gratitude to the people of Greater Shepparton for giving me this opportunity, and for their enthusiasm over the past 12 months.
“I will continue to do my very best in this role to work hard and achieve positive outcomes for Greater Shepparton and the members of our community.”
