As part of World Credit Union Day, which is celebrated on October 17 each year, GMCU donated $2.50 for every transaction made by their members in one of their branches. Last week, GMCU CEO, Melissa Ralph handed over a cheque of $1622.50 to the GV Health oncology unit for their special purpose fund, which helps ease some of the burden for patients having treatment with things like fuel vouchers, food, wigs or even retreats.
