A NEW partnership between Shepparton & Youth Club United Cricket Club and Commonwealth Bank will see the club sponsored by the local branch over the next two years, which comes with a $2,000 cash grant each year as well as a nice pack of cricket equipment.

As part of the Community Engagement Program sponsorship, Commonwealth Bank will provide cricket gear and Commonwealth Bank merchandise for the first year, a bank marquee, a pack of 15 iron on sponsor patches, 12 water bottles, one plastic stump set, one pack of 12 training balls, one set of 25 ground markers, one set of 12 hats as well as the $2,000 per year.

Shepparton & Youth Club United Cricket Club committee member, Steven Nash said, “We’re a little different from other clubs in that we have a women’s team and an all abilities team. We are very much about whole community inclusion and that was part of the criteria for the sponsorship.

“This two year partnership will be fantastic for the club.

“We’re grateful to the Commonwealth Bank for helping to support our club.”

Commonwealth Bank branch manager, James Wright said, “The Commonwealth Bank is a major proud sponsor of Cricket Australia and has been for many years. At a local level, it is great to be able to help strengthen our community involvement.

“If anybody is interested in sponsorship, they can jump on our website.”
