The much-loved event, Opera in the Alps is on again for its 24th year in historic Beechworth in northeast Victoria.
The exciting Opera in the Alps music program will feature guest soloist and popular SBS food presenter, mezzo-soprano Silvia Colloca, baritone Samuel Dundas, esteemed composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, William Barton playing didgeridoo, emerging singers from the Opera Scholars Australia program, as well as the Symphony Australia orchestra conducted by Guy Noble.
For the first time at Opera in the Alps, a limited number of tickets can also be purchased to the inaugural Opera Feast, a grand pre-concert four-course gourmet dining and wine experience, which will include an Italian course featuring two of Silvia Colloca’s favourite dishes.
Opera in the Alps will be held on Saturday, March 14 at the Beechworth Golf Club. Gates open at 3pm, with performances from 6pm to 8:40pm. For more information, visit www.operainthealps.com.au.
