MANY of us have our regular routines that we follow each day of the week, and that is no different for local resident, Norma Roddick who just turned 99-years-old.
Norma has spent most of her life taking a special trip on Fridays to treat herself to a hair cut, and for the last three years has enjoyed the company and talents of hairdresser, Sheridan Wright; in fact she enjoyed Sheridan so much she followed her from her previous employer to The Wright Style, which is where Norma goes for her weekly trim.
Norma said, “I think Sheridan does a magnificent job and The Wright Style hairdressing salon is a wonderful place.
“I get the ‘set’ style done when I go in.”
On top of her weekly haircut, Norma also gets regular massages and sees a chiropractor among other things, which she says is the secret to living to 99-years-old.
Sheridan said, “Norma makes my day every Friday when she comes in. I love talking with her and hearing the secrets and the gossip. We have formed quite a wonderful relationship.”
The Adviser would like to wish Norma a very happy 99th birthday.
