Riverlinks turns 10

sadviser November 23, 2011

RIVERLINKS Arts Entertainment Conventions Exhibitions are celebrating their tenth year of delivering theatre, music, entertainment and events to the Goulburn Valley, holding an anniversary launch at the Eastbank Centre Thursday December 8.
The evening will feature a memorable experience in the form of an organ demonstration on the ‘1981 Hammond Aurora Classic’ in Barry Morgan’s comedic World of Organs.
The night will also include short pieces from talented local performers, including Goulburn Valley Concert Orchestra and Shepparton Theatre Arts Group (STAG). Greater Shepparton City Council Manager for Performing Arts and Conventions, Steve Donelly, is proud to present such a fantastic inclusion of artists and performers.
“Local community groups such as the Orchestras and STAG have supported our venues from very early on and have played a major role in growing performing arts in our region, so we are very happy we can include them in this celebration.’ Mr Donelly said.
Riverlinks will also reveal its 2012 season program, which will include a mixed treat of music, drama, comedy, dance and family entertainment, from both professional touring companies as well as local performers.
