THE Goulburn Valley has become a name synonymous with quality wines, with more wineries in the region living up to our ‘food bowl’ reputation. We are now seeing smaller and newer wineries producing outstanding drops that rival the big names in the business from across the globe.

Established to promote local wines, the annual wine exhibition is held in conjunction with the Dookie A&P Society, Phillips Cellars and Regional Wine Centre, The Shepparton Adviser, Broker House, Camerons Lawyers, InHospitality, The Graham Family, Go Tafe and The University of Melbourne.

The Dookie Wine Show will take place this year on Wednesday, July 27 at 6:30pm at the picturesque Shepparton Golf Club. Enjoy the region’s finest wines for $99 per person. To secure your seat, call 1300 468 233.

Enquiries are welcome by phoning local wine merchant and chairman of the Dookie Wine Show, Paul Phillips, of Phillips Cellars and Regional Wine Centre on 5821 2051.

At The Dookie Wine Show Awards Dinner, Geoff Adams will announce the Wine of The Show. Below are the class winners:
