FROM this weekend VicRoads is advising road users to expect delays when travelling through McLennan Street in Mooroopna due to road restoration works.
The works, which will be carried out as a part of VicRoads’ annual pavement maintenance program to improve the surface condition and durability of the road, will be completed from Sunday, March 30 through until Friday, April 4, between 6pm and 6am (weather permitting).
The works will involve removing existing pavement and applying asphalt along half a kilometre of road along McLennan Street, between the intersections of Young Street and Watts Road, Mooroopna.
Reduced speed limits, traffic detours and traffic controllers will be in place for the duration of the works and minor delays of up to 15 minutes may be experienced by road users.
A heavy vehicle detour via Archer Street to Toolamba Road, may be required at certain stages of the work.
Access to residences and businesses in the area will still be available however altered access arrangements will be in place.
