THE weather is finally cooling down but festivities are heating up at Emerald Bank with the Shepparton Farmers Market running this Sunday, March 3. The first autumn monthly Sunday market will take place from 9am to 1pm.

The Shepparton Farmers Market is a popular mainstay of Shepparton, with over 60 stalls showcasing the finest in fresh produce and local products. There is food stalls, coffee, live music and much more, with chairs set up outdoors under the shade of large trees so that customers can enjoy the peaceful tranquillity of Emerald Bank.

Returning to the Shepparton Farmers Market this week will be the fiery and delicious hot and homemade sauces from Watch Ur Mouth. Produced in Wangaratta, these delicious sauces uniquely utilise capsicum as the base, instead of tomato as typically used in hot sauces. These gluten free sauces are extremely popular, with the capsicum providing a certain sweetness and richness not usually found in other sauces.

Watch Ur Mouth business owner and processor, Samantha Angel said, “We have worked with Emerald Bank for over a year and we are always blown away by the variety of produce available.

“There is fantastic produce and local products and we love the way the market supports the local community and in return the community helps support the small market.”

The Shepparton Farmers Market will be held this Sunday, March 3 from 9am until 1pm at Emerald Bank, 7725 Goulburn Valley Highway. For further information, visit www.emeraldbank.net.au/shepparton-farmers-market
