A REVOLUTIONARY program that has been life changing to those who have taken part in it has just kicked off in Shepparton, and is a sport for life.

The Kick Start Swimming program officially ‘kick started’ in Shepparton yesterday at Aquamoves and is a skill based program where swimmers learn at their own level, teaching techniques from basic freestyle right up to skill development in all strokes and fitness work.

Swimming Victoria membership development, Sal Cuming said, “It has been wonderful to see participants improving and gaining confidence in the water.

“In the Mildura, the Kick Start program saw one our swimmers loose 30kg and they are now swimming 2km per session after doing 2 terms of the Kick Start program.”

Kick Start Swimming Shepparton runs through until December 5 (excluding November 7) and costs $110 for eight sessions, $84 for six sessions or $15 casually.
