After reading the coverage re: Dimmeys store in the August 21 edition of your paper, I just had to write to say good on Sam (the landlord) for lowering the rent to enable Brian and Sharon Baxter to continue running their store in High Street, Shepparton
We definitely don’t need any more empty shops and I hope some of the other landlords will pay attention to this and lower the rent so we can get retail shops back on track on our community and the Shepparton CBD.
I am very happy that Dimmeys will remain, as it’s a great shop, especially for their floor mats.
