CHRISTMAS will come early to the region this Sunday, December 18, with the Mooroopna Farmers Market putting its own festive touch on the region’s freshest locally grown and produced products.
Mooroopna Lions Club Member and Market Co-ordinator, Dennis Patterson said, “We’ve been working really hard to ensure that this market will provide the appropriate Christmas cheer that this time of the year deserves. This market will be like having two markets in one!
“It took an enormous amount of effort from all concerned to get our very own Mooroopna Farmers Markets up and running, showcasing the best our region has to offer and we’ve been thrilled with how the market’s popularity has continued to grow.”
The December market will include train rides, animal farm, cheeses, wines, plants, cakes, oils, new season apricots, cherries, berries, peaches, your chance to meet Santa who’ll hand out free lollies for the kids, community craft, seating area for a relaxing cup of coffee or something to eat and much more.
Mr Patterson said, “We hope that everyone comes along and supports our December market, we wish you all a very merry Christmas and we will see you all again safe and sound in the new year.”
