SHEPPARTON’S Wyndham Street WIN Television building is now being demolished to make way for the network’s new digital broadcast facility.
The development comes almost 50 years after GMV-6, as the station was known until 1994, first went to air in December 1961.
WIN Network Shepparton Branch Manager, Mark Brodie last week said he was looking forward to a new beginning for WIN in Shepparton.
“While removal of our existing building signals the end of an era for the WIN network in Shepparton, it is exciting to look towards the future as we expand into the all digital era of television.
