IT has been 12 months since floods devasted parts of the Goulburn Valley. The effects are still being felt throughout the community, with many residents still residing in temporary accommodation.
Victoria’s State Emergency Service chief operations officer Tim Wiebusch estimated there were roughly 4000 properties isolated or inundated in Shepparton and Mooroopna during the floods.

The Greater Shepparton community came together to lend support, sandbag properties, rescue vulnerable, stranded people and once the water receded, helped with the enormous clean-up efforts.
