146th Shepparton Show a success

The 146th Annual Shepparton Agricultural Show was a roaring success over the weekend, with approximately 13,000 people descending upon the Shepparton Showgrounds to enjoy thrilling rides, standout entertainment, yummy food and view amazing arts and crafts produced by locals. The initial 10,000 tickets sold out on Friday night, with more released to meet the demand.

The Shepparton Agricultural Society was thrilled to be bring the much-loved event back to the Greater Shepparton community, after a two-year Covid induced hiatus.

Phil McKenna judged the Dairy Cattle Youth Show, the Eastern Goulburn Valley CWA were in the McIntosh Building serving up delicious fare and there were Arts and Crafts made by talented locals on display.

Shepparton Agricultural Society would like to thank their wonderful team of volunteers for a successful and smoothly ran event over the weekend, as well as the people who attended and showed their support while having a lovely day out.

“The show this year was a huge success, thank you to everyone who came along, entered the competitions, the volunteers and everyone else who helped make the show a wonderful experience after it was put on hold the past two years,” said Shepparton Agricultural Society secretary, Julie Winch.

“We look forward to organising the 2023 Show next!”
