EUROA vs. SHEPPARTON UNITED
There is a huge test for Euroa, and coach, Ellie Warnock will welcome the challenge of the undefeated Demons today.
Ellie will tell her girls not to fear playing the high-flying Demons. Just like they did when they trumped the more fancied Seymour outfit in round 3.
Euroa will give as good as it gets, but in the wash-up, the experience of United will prove the difference. Tip: United.
SHEPPARTON SWANS vs. KYABRAM
Shepparton Swans will be chasing its first win of the season when it welcomes Kyabram.
Kyabram is a much-improved outfit in 2022, having won one of its four games and drawing one other.
They have lost their past two games, so coach Sara Kent will be urging her girls to make the most of their opportunities against a young and depleted Swans unit.
Eliva Hall has been in good form for Kyabram and she will look to inspire her team-mates to keep the Swans winless in 2022. Tip: Shepparton Swans.
SEYMOUR vs. ECHUCA
Seymour faces another premiership fancy when it welcomes the undefeated Echuca.
Coach, Steph Vick has the girls playing some really good netball.
Led by the Byrne sisters – Claire and Bridget down in defence coupled by the strong work of Greta Pearson and goaler Bianca Willis, the visitors are likely to cause the home team plenty of headaches.
That is sure to give the Lions plenty of confidence going into this contest against the Murray Bombers outfit.
This should be a cracking game and the team that plays the full four quarters will claim the win. Tip: Echuca.
SHEPPARTON vs. MANSFIELD
After back-to-back defeats to start the season, Shepparton will look to continue to get its season back on track when it plays the winless Mansfield today.
The Eagles will find this challenge tough, especially that the Bears have managed to get some confidence from wins over the Swans and Tatura in recent weeks.
If they continue that form, the Bears will continue its climb up the ladder. Tip: Shepparton.
MOOROOPNA vs. TATURA
After a fantastic start to the season with two wins, Mooroopna has lost its past two matches.
First to the Demons and then to the Lions, which would have left coach Di Hanslow with plenty to ponder.
So many positives in the narrow loss to United, but she would have wondered what went wrong in the second half against the Lions. I think they can skip past Tatura and keep them winless in 2022. Tip: Mooroopna.
BENALLA vs. ROCHESTER
This should be a fantastic contest between two of the league’s improving teams.
Benalla has won its past three games while Rochester has been reasonably competitive, drawing one and winning one of its past three games.
It did lose to United last weekend.
But that’s no disgrace as most teams will lose to the Demons.
For Rochester, Morgan Dingwall, Ella Roulston and young gun Teal Hocking will be important if the Tigers are to bounce back to the winners’ circle.
Kelsey Palpratt was brilliant in the Saints’ win over Kyabram last weekend.
If she can continue that form and get support from mid-courter Hayley Martiniello and Tilly Lang, then the home team can get past the Tigers and consolidate their place in the top six. Tip: Benalla.
