Not content with watching the world pass her by, Greater Shepparton City Councillor, Kim O’Keeffe has quickly organised a special event at the Peppermill Inn last weekend to raise funds for the Bushfire Appeal. Local boy, Adam Thompson, from singing group Chocolate Starfish, took a detour flying from Perth to Sydney to drop in and provide entertainment for the night. The event managed to raise $20,000 on the night with more funds being pledged.
