COVID Update

SHEPPARTON has now passed 80,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered at the McIntosh Centre in Shepparton, and 140,000 doses administered across the GV Health Local Public Health Unit area. 

The region has also reached more than 95 percent first vaccine dose, and 87.8 percent with their second dose. 

Walk in appointments are available at the McIntosh Centre for Moderna, AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines. GV Health’s Vaccine Hub is located in the McIntosh Centre at Shepparton Showgrounds and opening hours are: 

• Monday to Saturday 9:00am–4:00pm 

• Tuesday 9:00am – 9:00pm

Shepparton now has two mobile units, Jabba the Bus and Maxine Vaccine providing vaccinations for people unable to get to the main vaccination centres. Jabba The Bus will be at Rumbalara Football Netball Club on November 10 between 1pm and 4pm. No appointments are necessary.

There are 275 active cases of people with COVID-19 in the Greater Shepparton LGA. 

Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how mild, (such as fever, chills, cough, sore throat, runny nose, loss of sense of smell), headache should get tested immediately.
